Haiti charity appeal: Why Rush Limbaugh should resign now

Rush Limbaugh, often called the true leader of the Republican Party, has called on Americans NOT to give any money to the Haiti appeals, claiming that they are already getting enough money from US taxes, and that Barack Obama will simply use the money for his own needs.
Limbaugh said: “This will play right into Obama’s hands. He’s humanitarian, compassionate. They’ll use this to burnish their, shall we say, credibility with the black community – both light-skinned and dark-skinned black community in this country. This is made to order for them.”
In further insult to the country, evangelical idiot Pat Robinson claimed that Haiti only had itself to blame as it had made a pact with the devil.
We say: There is such a thing as free speech, but sometimes, it needs to be taken away from idiots like Rush Limbaugh. It’s a very dangerous thing, free speech, and people need to be tackled head on if they abuse that right.
If you agree, leave a comment below – it’s the least you can do to signal that you disagree with right-wing fascists like Limbaugh and Robinson.
In the meantime, do donate whatever you can to DEC – they need it urgently.

Rush is one of the biggest idiots of all time and the Republican Party needs to put a muzzle on him. He gives not only them a black eye but he gives a black eye to America. I agree that free speech is one of our rights that our soldiers fought for but his speech is nothing but blasphemy and shows how insensitive and politically driven he really is. He incites hatred in people that already have a short fuse and one day someone will do something horrible in his name and then the rest of us will have to live with it. He needs to be taken off the air because he is giving his employer a black eye also since they pay him and therefore condone his mouth and his hatred. How did this guy get where he is? Idiot is too nice a term for him. Scum and hate monger are more to his description.
It’s time for Americans to stop that despicable man and his rantings before it’s too late . The fact that he has so many “followers” is not a good sign about majority of the U.S population. Pat on the other hand can be pitied, its obvious he’s not completely there which isn’t exactly a terrible loss. The seeds of HATE are being sown now which will definitely lead to a regrettable future for young Americans.

Free speech is an American right. Free speech is not needed to protect popular speech and politically correct speech, it’s need to protect people like Rush who have the balls to go against popular opinion.
Calling for ANYONES freedom of speech to be taken away is highly un-American.
I wouldn’t expect a far-left person such as yourself to grasp this concept. I also have no expectations that you will approve this comment or let it stand.
And for the record, he’s correct in what he said to a certain extend. Most Americans are forced to donate every paycheck in the form of taxes. I pay more than my fair share everytime payday rolls around. The only charity I ever give to is something involving animals.

Isn’t it great in America we don’t have to follow the money making politics of a Rush Limbaugh nor the religious fraud of a Pat Robinson. Let them both make millions for their own self-esteem. For the rest of us Americans who try to be Christian, let’s continue to help the people of Haiti.
Limbaugh has only dared to voice what millions of us are thinking. These people in Haiti are, on the whole, lawless savages. They have proved this since the earthquake by getting shot by the police for looting home furnishings. Yep, I’m sure that would be in the forefront of most Americans’ minds; we have no food, nor clean water, but I will steal those paintings.
The earthquake is God’s will. God bless America.
